My name is Olga. I came to The Netherlands 10 years ago. It was a difficult time to find a job, when even locals struggled to find one. "Be prepared for a downgrade in your career", said people around me.
Two weeks after I got my working permit, I found a full time job in a big American company. On the plus side, I had significant work experience in the area of Supply Chain, Purchasing and Logistics in international (mostly French) organizations. On the negative side, I had a very average level of English and zero understanding of how the local system works. I had to teach myself to make a CV, write cover letters and create a profile on LinkedIn.
I grew from a temporary contractor working via a recruitment agency, to a Sr. Logistics Analyst. It was a great adventure, but after 9 years I decided it was time for a change. I always had interest in people and psychology, and I was contemplating on how to combine this hobby with my professional expertise. Then one day the thought dawned on me, "become a coach to facilitate people's professional growth". I wanted to show on my example that everything is possible. Whether it is finding a job in a new country, transitioning into a new career path or starting a business.
Helping people with building a career, I discovered that often they are facing one common issue, stress. It made me think of my own experience of having a burn-out due to enormous stress. It was scary and for a long time I was ashamed to even talk about it. I thought it made me look weak. But then I decided to use this lesson to teach people to put their mental health as a priority. To provide my support in learning how to reduce anxiety, become stress resilient and prevent a burn-out.
I graduated as a career/team coach and stress management counsellor. And now I use my coaching expertise, corporate experience and personal story to help my clients from all over the world to grow and live a stress free happy life.
