My story
Hi there. My name is Olga. I’m a counselling psychologist, career coach, and reintegration coach, working with UWV-funded reintegration programs and Dutch insurance companies to support individuals with mental well-being and ensure a successful and sustainable return to employment I transitioned into psychology and coaching from a successful corporate career after experiencing burnout. It was a challenging time for me, but I managed. The lesson I learned from this experience is that you don’t need to go through difficult times alone, and seeking help is not a weakness—it’s actually a sign of strength. Just as we take care of our physical health, we should also take care of our mental well-being. Now I work with corporate and individual clients worldwide, helping corporate employees address various challenges, from improving mental well-being to fostering career development.
approach
My approach is analytical and structured. I blend therapy and coaching depending on each person’s needs. Sometimes it’s purely coaching, with clear SMART goals and tangible steps, and we’re done in just a few sessions. Other times, we dive much deeper into counselling, exploring the root causes of patterns and schemas to understand how to bring about lasting behavioural change. I use effective, evidence-based techniques, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is one of the most scientifically proven therapies for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress. By addressing and correcting unhelpful thinking patterns, we can facilitate meaningful behavioural change. Additionally, I incorporate methods from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, and coaching, adapting my approach to what works best for each individual.
